U13B
Dunboyne AFC 1 - 1 River Valley Rangers
This morning was a tense affair, a game of two defences who limited shots on goal throughout the game. Dunboyne, with a shadow of the performance from the week before, had to battle hard to gain a point. After going behind the lads stepped it up a notch and forced a penalty which was slotted home into the bottom corner. This set up a tense finish with some edgy moments skilfully managed by the referee. All in all this was a hard fought game with a point and another week unbeaten. Well done to all the players, coaches, parents and fans today.

Sun 02-April

U13B
Swords Celtic 3 - 4 Dunboyne AFC
On a lovely sunny mid morning the boys took to the road to play Swords Celtic. The game kicked off and from the whistle it was clear to see that both teams wanted to come out on top, this made it thrilling from a spectators point of view. goals a plenty from both sides, Swords with a more direct over the top and up the middle approach, Dunboyne mixing it up more on the ground with a mixture of the wings and playing it through the thirds. It was fast, it was furious it was entertaining, most of all it was a victory for Dunboyne AFC 4-3 winners, well played coaches and players, and the travelling support.
